How ShitoMeter Works

ShitoMeter lets people explore and rate real-world experiences in the simplest possible way.

When you land on the website, you can search for anything, explore all existing ratings, see what's trending, and browse freely without signing in.

Sign-in is required only when you want to rate.

Once you click Start Rating, you'll be prompted to sign in using email or Google login. There's no OTP and no lengthy onboarding.

After signing in, you can immediately begin rating.

Type anything you want to rate. If the item already exists, it appears automatically. If it's being rated for the first time, you can add it.

Next, select the appropriate category from the available list.

Then rate the item on a 1 to 10 scale:

Each user can rate a particular item only once to maintain fairness and accuracy.

After submitting a rating, you're redirected back to the home page, where you can continue browsing or rate something else.

You can edit or update your rating after 7 days, acknowledging that experiences and opinions can change over time.

You can also share your ratings directly to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), or via a shareable link.

ShitoMeter is designed to remove noise, influence, and arguments — capturing collective sentiment through simple, honest scores.
